1. Booking and Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A 30% is required upon booking to secure services of Heirloom.

    Deposit is non-refundable if client cancels x-days before shoot date:

    • 14-days for Weddings.

    • 5-days for Engagements, Elopements, and Pre-Wedding events.

    • 3-days for Family Events and Functions.

  • Payment: Remaining account balance to be paid in full before final photos are sent out.

  • Product: Prices include delivery of digital photographic media (in .jpg format) only.

    • The amount of photos is up to the discretion of Heirloom.

    • Portrait photos are in accordance to the package deal.

  • Accepted Payment Methods: Bank transfer and Cash accepted.

    Currency is listed in $AUD.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • Client-Initiated Cancellation: Cancellations (x+1) days prior to the shoot date, are eligible for a refund of the deposited amount.

    • Cancellations (x-1) days and below, incur a forfeit of initial deposit.

    • ‘x’ refers to the particular number of days specified, depdendent on project type.

  • Rescheduling: Upon discussion, sessions can be rescheduled subject to availabilty.

  • Photographer-Initiated Cancellation: If Heirloom requires a cancellation due to an unforeseen circumstrance, initial deposit will be refunded and alternative photographer will be found if possible.

3. Copyright and Usage Rights

  • Ownership of Images: All photos taken by Heirloom are the property of Heirloom and are subject to copyright laws.

  • Client Usage: Clients of Heirloom may use their photos to their discretion.

  • Permission to Use Images: Hierloom reserves the right to use photos for promotional purposes, ie. portfolio, website, social media, and related services.

4. Delivery of Photos

  • Delivery Timeline: Heirloom aims to have client photos sent within 7-10 days from the shoot date.

    Times may vary during peak seasons. If delay is expected it will be communicated with the client.

  • Format of Delivery: Photos will be sent via a transfer link.

  • Editing: Photos will be coloured, adjusted, and categorised. Heirloom does not offer re-touching services.

6. Event Day Conduct

  • Workable Hours: Shoot times will be agreed upon with the client prior to the shoot date.

    • Pricing of service will be in accordance to the agreed upon time.

    • Heirloom will arrive at least 15-minutes prior to the shoot time.

      • Please note this is dependant on the scale of the job.

  • Rest and Recouperation: For shoots longer than 6 hours, Heirloom will require a 30 minute break (paid, included in pricing).

    • Breaks may be taken as one single block or spread in smaller blocks throughout the event.

8. Additional Fees

  • Travel and Accommodation: Travel and Accomodation costs may be applicable and will be agreed upon at the time of booking. Travel cost is calculated in kilometres for Victorian-based jobs.

  • Extra Hours: Jobs are charged on hourly basis, with the exception of weddings which have a pricing tier.

    • Base rate will be charged for every additional hour(s) required.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes and Disagreements: Disputes will be firstly negotiated between the client and Heirloom.

  • If a resolution cannot be reached, legal action may be taken.

10. Entire Agreement

  • Employing the services of Heirloom, means that the Client has agreed to all above terms of service.

  • All terms and conditions represent the entire agreement between Heirloom and the client, superseding prior agreements.
